The Philippines & Indonesia were a lot similar back then & thus, the rice terraces in both countries. However, there's barely any similarities nowadays except the physical appearance of the people as we still look like "mirror-images" of each other.

By the way, the anthropologists determined that the Filipinos originally came from Indonesia by boat & there's tons of solid evidences for this. But the Indonesians came from mainland Malaysia by boat too even way back then!

Thus, we all belong to "the Malay race" though Malaysia has become more Chinese & Hindu due to the migration of these people to prosperous Malaysia
